Wanda finds a piece of paper with some notes on it. She pretends that she can read, but what she’s actually good at is fibbing. The large-scale illustrations capture the animals’ expressions and emotions with stunning effect and are accompanied by short text in large font size.
Author Lorenz Pauli and illustrator Kathrin Schärer are a well-established team who have created many beautiful children’s books. In 2017 they received the annual Swiss Children’s and Youth Book Award. This entertaining book is an excellent introduction to reading.
